Ultrasound Department

Ultrasound appointments are offered 4-5 days a week and at varied hours so we can accommodate our patient's busy schedules. Studies are performed in a comfortable and friendly environment. All ultrasound cases are reviewed by physicians with many years of experience interpreting ultrasound images.

The Ultrasound Department at North Dover Ob-Gyn is a full time, full service facility. Ultrasounds are requested to examine fetuses, pelvic organs, and to help physicians arrive a diagnosis. Both technologist on staff have registered in their fields for many years, and have extensive experience in Ob and Gyn imaging procedures.

We recently purchased one of the most advanced ultrasound systems in the world, made by GE, and providing the most high-tech and innovative imaging technologies in the industry, including 3D/4D and Color Doppler. All cutting edge equipment and procedures are offered in our facility as soon as they are available and proven assets to our department. Technologists are required to earn education credits by attending seminars and lectures so they can maintain their registry status and stay current with rapidly changing ultrasound trends. AIUM certified since 2009.
